Our technology provides a readily available vehicle for the efficient transfer of expertise between highly qualified professionals and end users. Another aim is to augment human expertise with the capacity and precision of computers, thus allowing for pooling of expert knowledge among specialists. 

Users are rapidly guided through complex technical knowledge using a simple and uncluttered interface. Unlike traditional expert systems, users are not bound by algorithms or rules. The database will, however, support a very high level of complexity to respond to the most demanding diagnostic tasks. Furthermore, our proprietary wizard uses an advanced algorithm to sort queries in order of usefulness to the user. Cogniwiz™ products are well suited for:

Our first product, Dermwiz™, is a searchable database of non-tumoral skin diseases. Putting a name on a skin rash is one of the most daunting task in Medicine. There are an estimated 1,500 different dermatological diagnoses and not one dermatologist who has seen them all. Dermwiz™ can, however, pool the experience of generations and instantly digest it to answer a query. It provides a list of diseases that match criteria selected by the user from a vast menu covering clinical, epidemiological, etiological and pathological features. Dermwiz™ is a computer-assisted diagnostic technology meant to assist, not replace, qualified health professionals practicing dermatology and dermatopathology.
